I always loved the look of dual quads on a 455. Is there anyone who has it in on? Just wondering if there would be any hood clearance issues. I know that it would be better to stick with a B4B or SP1, but just dreaming:laugh:
Thanks..

I have one.........sitting on the shelf since a year. :tonge2:
But finally I decided to use the performer.
Maybe I will put the Offy on when I´m building a motor for the Centurion.
Which carbs do you want to use? Square bore or spread?
I have the square bore version. But TA Perf. offers a spread bore version. Looks like it´s just a machined square bore intake.
But I think this intake would make more sense with two Q-Jets on.
Also I think it looks really hot with Q-Jets instead of Holleys or Edelbrock Carbs.
Maybe a little tricky to tune ;)

This new one went for 500 dollars on e-bay.

Ohh yes, I like them!!!
Especially with those typ of air cleaners.
Looks really hot. Only thing that can top this is the same setup
with Q-Jets. Just my opinion.

That does look great.
I've heard that a properly tuned dual carb can perform almost as good as a properly tuned single carb.
