The 71 LeSabre convertible ebay car raised this question to myself. Are these supposed to be body color? The ones in my convertible were bare brass/steel. But I just looked at two convertibles with body color parts there. Can anyone else check theirs out to see what finish is on them?
Here is a picture of the parts in question.

Here is one on the red convertible on eBay right now...it also is painted body color. It's on the bottom right of the photo.

I suppose I could go look at the ones in my car... I would imagine this isn't convertible specific - all 2 doors, maybe?

My car doesn't have them...convertibles only - helps to prevent the body from flexing.

Adam,
On my car, a never painted '72, they are bare brass. You are correct also on them being convertible only items.

Well that's interesting...
What is the finish on the body under the wedges?
