Seat Dye

Have any of you ever tried to dye your seats a different color? I want to take some good saddle colored to black....Thoughts?

Try colorbond. It works well. You have to clean the vinyl with alcohol. Their website suggests acetone,I talked to the owner and he recommended alcohol for older cars. You really have to get the material super clean for the dye to penetrate properly.

Have you done it???? Did it work? My guy suggested Colorbond as well. I just need the drivers side but tought I would do both at the same time.

It works great as long as you prep the seats good. Scrub them with sem soap and then wipe them good with alcohol.
